My work is inspired by a deep love of the Australian bush and outback. Through painting, I seek to capture the spirit of the places I visit, allowing impressions to alchemise into playful marks, shapes, textures, and colour.
In 2023, we made a tree change and settled in the Hepburn region of Victoria. Living in the country, alongside annual artist field trips to the outback, has deepened my connection to the landscape, informed my practice, and sharpened my vision.
I invite you to subscribe to my monthly newsletter. Musings on art practice, life in the country, and conversations with artists whose work is also rooted in the land.
If you're on Substack, you can also follow me there.
A creative life is one of possibility, discovery, exploration, and self-expression. It is also a discipline, a commitment, a way of being and a way of moving through the world.
Join me on the journey.
I pay my respects to the Traditional custodians of the land on which I live. I pay my respects to their Elders, past and present.
